This document presents a case study on a wireless body sensor network (WBSN)-based heart rate monitoring system (HMS) aimed at reducing fatal heart attack rates by enabling regular heart condition assessments. The HMS is portable, cost-effective, and designed to be user-friendly, providing real-time monitoring and alerts using advanced algorithms to ensure accurate cardiac health evaluations. The study involved testing the HMS on healthy subjects and showed that 99% of their heart rate data remained within a normal range, confirming the system's effectiveness.
