Waterfront Revitalization Grant
WATERFRONT REVITALIZATION GRANT

 Awarded by DEP’s Coastal Partnership
  Initiative in amount of $30,000.
 City is providing matching funds in amount
  of $80,000.
 Project location: the easternmost portion of
  Dania Beach, situated between John U.
  Lloyd State Park to the north and the City
  of Hollywood to the south.
 One year planning process with end
  product being an overall concept plan.
WATERFRONT REVITALIZATION GRANT

An RFP was posted and 7 firms responded to
the bid opening on March 16.
The selection committee has met twice and
has ranked the firms. Selection is anticipated
April 24.
The first public stakeholder meeting is
scheduled for April 12, at 6 p.m. at IT Parker
Community Center.
Outreach has begun, including HOA and
association presentations.

 Improving connectivity for pedestrians,
  bicyclists and small boat users
 The potential impacts from climate change
