Waterfield Energy, a subsidiary of the Waterfield Group, acquired NeoFirma, a cloud-based software company that specializes in capturing field data and generating operational reports for the oil and gas sector. As part of the acquisition, NeoFirma president Steve Haglund will become vice president of field operations at Waterfield Energy, and NeoFirma's software and data technology will be incorporated into Waterfield Energy's existing product offerings to provide to a wider range of oil and gas clients.

For nearly two decades, J. Randall ‘Randy’ Waterfield has served as chairman of the Waterfield
Group, a financial holding company that oversees investments in numerous sectors. Among other
areas of the company’s operations, J. Randall Waterfield guides the group’s mergers and
acquisitions.

3. Waterfield Energy Acquires NeoFirma
In January 2019, Waterfield Energy, a subsidiary of the Waterfield Group, came to terms on an
agreement to acquire NeoFirma. A cloud-based software solution, NeoFirma specializes in
capturing field data, generating operational reports, and tracking well operations. According to the
terms of the agreement, NeoFirma president Steve Haglund will take on the role of vice president
of field operations with Waterfield Energy.

4. Waterfield Energy Acquires NeoFirma
NeoFirma’s software suite and data capture technology will be incorporated into existing product
offerings from Waterfield Energy. Through the acquisition, a wider range of clients in the oil and
gas sector will have access to NeoFirma’s software. In his comments, Haglund also pointed to the
shared values the companies have as a guiding principle that helped spearhead the acquisition.
