Since assuming control as the Chairman of the Waterfield Group, J. Randall Waterfield has helped the company diversify its assets into a range of new sectors. In 2006 and 2007, the Waterfield Group sold the largest bank in Indiana and the country’s largest private mortgage company, while continuing to diversify into asset management, merchant banking, real estate, and technology. The Waterfield Group operates many auxiliary enterprises, such as Waterfield Enterprises, Waterfield Energy Software, Inc., and Waterfield Technologies; J. Randall Waterfield has held positions on the Board of Directors for all of the Waterfield Group’s subsidiaries.
