The Warburtons campaign from March 2011 aimed to increase brand awareness in the South of England and promote the brand's family values. The campaign doubled Warburtons brand awareness from 8% to 16% according to research. Post-campaign, Warburtons advertising stood out more amongst rivals. Rail advertising was key in driving this increase in awareness. Posters were especially effective in communicating the family message and driving word-of-mouth recommendations for the Warburtons brand.
