WAR BETWEEN E-COMMERCE
Flipkart was the host of the party, when they launched their
#AchhaKiya campaign extensively across mediums, telling
consumers that if they spotted a product on their platform
and haven’t bought it, they made a right choice.
Snapdeal saw this as
an exciting opportunity
to troll the competitor
e-commerce giant.’.
In response to
Flipkart’s ‘Nahi
Khareeda?
#AcchaKiya’
campaign, Snapdeal
came up with
‘AcchaKiyaBataDiya
#YahanSeKhareedo
It’s not just hoardings, Snapdeal launched the
arrow in newspapers to create vigour.
But in this war between Flipkart and Snapdeal,
Amazon took the cake away. What it launched
was a mouth-binding answer to the war been
the two arch rivals. It came up with
‘KahinNahiMila? #YahaDekhLo’ and proved to be
the master.
And when 2 brands fight, it’s always the third
brand which takes the cake away. This war led
to some creative imagery from various brands,
and the opportunistic trolls began!
Why would OLX stay behind :
• The Twitter War Between Flipkart And
Amazon
• Twitter exploded when Reddit India posted a
picture of the Flipkart office with an Amazon
delivery box in the corner.
Flipkart’s reply to the tweet wasn’t
exactly in the best taste
and folks at Twitter had a great time
poking fun at the two companies,
adding fuel to the fire
At long last though, Amazon finally
gave a fitting reply to Flipkart
Amazon’s brilliant reply made Flipkart
tone their response down too
