OTT Workflow
• Linear services ABR transcoding is performed by existing Electra X2
• VOD files transcoding is performed by Cambria FTC transcoders and ingest into VOS by API.
• The OTT transcoding video profiles is based on the VTVcab’s existing video profiles.
• VOS performs catchup (7 days) , JIT packaging and origin.
• VTVcab’s existing Mediagrid 4000 shall be used for VOS CNS storage.

URL re-writing for CU and SO
• VTVcab’s existing STB have to follow a certain URL format for Catchup and Startover. VOS’s url does not use the same
format.
• F5 Load Balancers (not provided by Harmonic) will perform the load balancing for the Egress traffic between all VOS
CNS nodes.
• When the STB clients requests using their formats, the F5 Load Balancers will perform the URL re-direct to VOS URL
formats to the STB.
