Buddy is a voice recognition application developed for the Android platform. It allows users to control their device and perform basic operations using voice commands by recording a voice sample, digitizing it to create a unique voice print, and breaking speech into segments defined by tones. The application provides a simple GUI and convenient speech-to-text functionality without internet. However, it only recognizes English and may struggle with unclear voices or background noise.

recognition technology works by
recording a voice sample of a
person's speech and digitizing it to
create a unique voice print or
template. Each spoken word is
broken up into discrete segments
which comprise several tones. These
tones can be digitized and are
captured to create a speaker's
unique voice template.

Voice recognition is an alternative to trying on a keyboard
put simply, you can talk to the mobile and your words
appear on the screen. The software has been developed
to provide a fat method of writing on a system and can
help people with a variety of disabilities.
It’s less time consuming application that’s reduce user’s
efforts.

There are following limitations:
• If voice should not be clear so application doesn’t give
desired output.
• All permission should be allow.
• Application wants access of mic .
• Some time application didn’t recognize your voice
because of external voice or noise.
• That is only recognizing English language.
