Hamiltons Gallery is proud to host such a spectacular exhibition
of Vivian Maier works. She died without knowing her work had
been found and auctioned off for nothing. So this is bring to life
her lost work and give the public a chance to see what an
amazing photographer she was. As her work is spread all over
the US and is owned by many people it took a lot of work and
time to source these images, but we felt so strongly that they
needed to be viewed by the public.
The exhibition consist of 7 of her images some taken in America,
other in Europe and some are unknown. Her work falls under
the genre of street photography. These images are not for sale.
The collection of images depict many different people from all
works of life.
Vivian Dorothea Maier was born in New York, USA on 1st
