Extracurricular &
Leadership: Band
Council
My upperclassmen years in high school were spent involved in
various leadership positions for my high school band. I was
voted to be band Publicity Chair, Drill Instructor, and
volunteered as a quartermaster.
As a publicity chair I was responsible for organizing and
setting up social events for students and teachers
As a drill instructor I was tasked with teaching students the
fundamentals of marching as well as offering accountability
leadership in academics and in music
As a quartermaster my duty was to ensure that all equipment
is safely loaded on and off the truck for games, as well as
setting up equipment before practices
My leadership opportunities in band granted me incredible
leadership skills and the importance of communication that is
involved with leading peers

Extracurricular
Activity: Tech PR
club
As a member of theTech PR Club I have been
able to dive into this career field and get a first
hand look at how to succeed in this field
As a member, I have seen many different public
relations representatives from different
companies share their experience and offer
helpful advice for the career
Every year the PR club goes to Dallas to visit
many PR teams or firms such as Southwest
Airlines and the Dallas Cowboys
.

My Job Experience:
50th Street Caboose
As a member of the 50th Street Caboose team I was able
to understand the importance of communication and
teamwork.
I managed to work up to the point where I was training
new employees into the same position and I was
identified as the head bus boy
This was my job experience and it taught me the value of
hard work and what it meant to be a team player

My Job Experience:
PacSun
this was my first experience in retail and taught me better
social skills as well as the importance of marketing and
sales
I worked as an associate where I had to briefly introduce
customers and promote items
Working as an associate at PacSun gave me the beginner
tools on how to be an approachable seller.

My Job Experience:
Sunglass Hut
I have spent 2 years as an associate at Sunglass Hit and it
has been a very enlightening job for me
I have learned the essence of being a successful
salesperson
This job has given me an amazing opportunity to know
what how to be a charismatic and credible salesperson
when promoting certain items or making
recommendations

Through my years as a both a leader, and a team player I have
learned how to be successful in all aspects of a carreer. I am
excited for any opportunity that will further my development as
a professional.
