This document discusses a 3D virtual world assessment center that aims to assess leadership skills through simulations. The goals are to assess distributed leadership skills globally, provide social and experiential online learning, and create a scalable and fun behavioral assessment approach. The technology used includes Unity 3D, VoIP, text chat, and analytics. Simulations and avatar customization are used to assess personality, abilities, business acumen, and other competencies. A proof of concept involved a global MBA competition between universities. The assessment is intended to provide immersive data visualizations and capture communication patterns to improve performance over iterations.
