ACADEMIC PROJECT
Practical research on “Working Model of 4WS-System”
 We made a model showing 4Wheel Steering-System to be used in passenger vehicles
apart from the commercial vehicles. In this system, all the four wheels are steered by a
single steer in either side. We have many advantages of it if possibly done on on-road
vehicles like turning radius gets reduced to 50% than the normal we have presently. Thus,
the four wheel steering system has got cornering capability, steering response, straight
line stability, lane changing and low speed manoeuvrability.
