This document provides tips for videography including lighting the subject from behind using indirect sunlight, framing the subject to one side, using a microphone or getting close to reduce background noise, including depth in the background, capturing 5-10 seconds of B-roll per shot, using a cheap tripod, and avoiding excessive zooming and instead shooting the same scene twice from different angles if needed.
