MTV has over 50 corporate social responsibility initiatives across education, health and wellness, the environment, citizenship, and employee engagement. The initiatives include Look Different, Rock the Vote, A Fine Line, Staying Alive Foundation, Half of Us, Agentes de Cambio, MTV Breaks, Exit Campaign, and Staying Alive. The presentation highlights the Look Different campaign, its objective to promote diversity and inclusion, its target audience of young people, and its positive results. MTV's president notes that entertaining audiences can be made more powerful when combined with pro-social and activism angles that enrich MTV's connections to its audience.
