This case study describes a code inspection project Hexaware completed for a large healthcare products provider. Hexaware performed code inspections on a third-party handheld application called VERI5 that had been in beta for 7 years. The inspection found several issues and determined the code was not maintainable. Hexaware provided recommendations to discontinue the product. The inspection followed a two-phase approach of design review and then code inspection. This helped the client decide whether to continue supporting the outdated application.
