of many entities. New Discover documents and processes were identified and utilized for testing.
• Coordinated testing for several large projects that migrated systems from Student Loan Corporation to
Discover platforms. Monitored and kept SLC and Discover testing groups in sync since each had own test
environments, calendars and test tools.
• Collaborated with project managers, analysts, and developers; oversaw testers which included onshore and
offshore resources as well as Citi testers located in Sioux Falls, SD.
• Built collaborative relationship with Cognizant developers and CapGemini testers, onshore and offshore
by increasing understanding of what needed to be done. Significant development and testing was
transitioned to separate 3rd
party companies. Established good communications between groups making
sure all issues and defects were understood and resolved quickly so quality and timelines were not
jeopardized.
• Utilized Quality Center for tracking defects, changing requests and monitoring test case status.
• Tested new builds and validated integrity of screens and functionality of the system ensuring no issues
when the business or customers accessed the system.
