This document discusses why Twitter matters and its potential uses. It argues that Twitter allows for socially aggregated real-time discussions through hashtags and retweets, creating emergent dynamics around issues and content. It suggests Twitter, through its simple microblogging structure, may be the "stemcell" of web 3.0 by facilitating universal discovery and knowledge sharing through user-generated content and conversations.
