UV Sensor is ideally suited for detecting all types of flame, namely flames due to Gas / Coal / Oil fired burners in Boiler and Furnaces. UV Sensor ( Model UV - 01 -AJ) has been specially designed for harsh industrial environment. It provides for easy cleaning of the UV Sensor and viewing of the flame. UV Flame sensor is housed in a metal jacket to provide mechanical protection and various mounting features UV Flame Amplifier / Relay (Model UV - FR - 01) is used in conjunction with UV Flame Sensor to detect various types of flames namely gas, oil, coal etc The UV Flame Amplifier is essentially a stand alone unit, which has Two Potential Free relay contact outputs rated at 220 V AC, 4 Amps.

DESCRIPTION
The UV/IR Flame Detector is the new flame detector using
digital multi-processing technology. The detector combines the
technologiesused to provide immunity to extraneous source.
The UV/IR flame detector senses radiation energy in the
narrow wave-band of both the ultraviolet and the infrared
portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. The US sensor
incorporates a special algorithm that prevents false alarm
caused by solar radiation. TheIR sensor is sensitive to the
radiation of 4.3㎛.
UV/IR flame detector has a solid cone of vision for n-Heptane of 98 feet. The detector features standard
fire and fault relay, 4 to 20mA current output, RS485 communication.
The detector has applications in a wide range of industrial and commercial facilities,where the threat
of accidental fire involves hydrocarbon fuels, such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, aviation jet fuels
like JP-4, JP-5, JP-8, hydraulic fluids, paints and solvents, hydrocarbon gases like ethylene and
polyethylene,naturalgas(LNG),towngas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), methane, ethane, propane, etc.
Sensing Path Test (SPT) is also provided.
The compact design (1/4 of the conventional detector) makes the new sensor very easy to be installed
on the all types of facilities and machines where impossible before.
