The document describes the design of a beta-multiplier voltage reference circuit for a glucose sensor system. Simulation results show the reference voltage VREF remains constant with varying supply voltage, temperature, and process variations, making it suitable for use in a voltage regulator. A bandgap reference circuit was also simulated but showed unstable VREF due to process variation. The beta-multiplier reference was integrated into a voltage regulator design. Simulation results found the regulator output VREG remained within 15mV for a 400mV supply change and 8mV for a 20°C temperature change, indicating good regulation.
