recommend, third confirm you
e-mail address, then SEND
6. Ideas to consider with the Linkedin recommendations:
1. Have your source include a specific situation that you can then refer to
when speaking with a prospective employer. Take a look at the
previous slide for a reference point regarding this strategy.
2. Place your LinkedIn address on your CV so that it can be quickly
referred to by the prospective employer.
3. Copy all of the recommendations into MSWORD and re-format to a
professional template. Then use the finished product to accompany
your CV when attending an interview.
4. BE CERTAIN that you obtain ALL the necessary recommendations from
your current facility BEFORE leaving….it is a relatively easy task…and
vital to your career opportunities!
5. From experience, I can attest to the fact that it takes very little time for
an associate, manager or colleague to plug-in to Linked-In and provide
the feedback. By contrast, you can wait “forever” to get a letter of
recommendation.
