  1. I don’t really think the term Big Data is relevant to recruitment. The Los Angeles and Santa Cruz police departments,  have taken an algorithm used to predict earthquakes, tweaked it and started feeding it crime data. The software can predict where crimes are likely to occur down to 500 square feet. Its been reduced crime and its been great, but we just want to know where our best hires come from. I am not here today to talk about big data and that’s for a couple of reasons I don’t have a PHD in statistical analaysis, or economics That takes me on to point 3, quite frankly 95% of the companies that I speak to don’t have their data organised enough to even start there journey into data analaytics, if you’re in that top 5% then well done. What I want to talk about is the fundamental data you as a recruitment manager or recruiter should have today. What can you do with that data and if you don’t have what you can to start getting
