This document discusses the user-centered design of an electric jug kettle. It provides details on the product features such as an ergonomic handle, ON/OFF switch, indicator light, hinged lid, and boil-dry protection. It also examines the target users which are adults aged 18-44 of both genders. User needs are identified such as appropriate hand size based on anthropometric data. Psychological characteristics of users like perception, fatigue, endurance, and energy expenditure are also considered. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of research in user-centered design to create ergonomic products that meet user needs and preferences.
