Sharla Stockton has experience in geology, writing reports, GIS mapping, field data collection, and water quality assessment. She has a B.S. in Geology from California State University, Chico. Her current role is as an Assistant to an Engineering Geologist at the California Department of Water Resources, where she collects and analyzes hydrogeologic data. Previously, she has held roles as a lab assistant and teacher's assistant at CSU, Chico and various food service jobs. She has received research awards for her work studying aquifers and geology in Northern California.
