Rui Li is a PhD candidate in environmental engineering at Old Dominion University. He received his MS in environmental engineering from Iowa State University in 2012 and his BS in geography from Beijing Normal University in 2010. His research focuses on hydrological modeling and the impacts of climate change and sea level rise on coastal hydrology and flooding. He has experience using modeling tools such as ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, EPANET, SWMM, SWAT, and SDSM. He has published papers on simulating the effects of sea level rise and soil erosion modeling.
