Undergraduate research at North Carolina State performing ground assays of buildings for solar
suitability.
GIS Mapping for Wake County Parks and Recreation where sections of Yates Mill Pond trails
destroyed by a tornado in the area. Gathered trail data positions and mapped them for trail reconstruction.
Participated in the ground up development of an inventory of the Raleigh Greenways system for
Raleigh Parks and Recreation, City of Raleigh, and the Smithsonian Institute.
EXPERIENCE:
October 2014- Current
Employee: Environmental Hydrogeological Consultants, Red Springs NC. Serve as both a field
technician and environmental scientist as needed. Conduct field sampling events and chemical
identification. Prepare reports and other pertinent documents pertaining to work projects.
June 2013- August 2013
Intern: NC Department of Environmental and Natural Resources, Division of Water Quality
Assisted staff with collection of wetland field data and office work involving GIS analysis of field data
that was gathered.
2. June 2012- November 2012
Intern: Academy Solar, a Chapel Hill based Solar company.
Assisted in site assessments as well as virtual assessments. Worked with system designs. Helped to
develop semi-proprietary marketing approach. Participated in Lobbying with the NC Association for
Sustainable Energy.
