• Urethritis is an inflammation of the urethra
because of an infection. The inflammation
occurs because of all the white blood cells in
the urethra. This infection can move up to the
kidneys, bladder, and ureter this is called an
urinary tract infection or an UTI.

• If someone already had the disease in your
family then you also have a chance of getting
urethritis because it's in your genes.
• Having a lot of sexual partners
• Having anal sex or other risky types of sex
• Having a damaged condom
