Iowa Campus Compact implemented its new student-focused program, the Civic Ambassador Network, as a way to engage students in IACC programs while also providing them with professional development opportunities and project assistance. The Civic Ambassador Network will begin its second year this fall.

This workshop will provide strategies on how to include students with intellectual and complex learning disabilities in service-learning opportunities, where they are not the recipient of the service, but rather actively engaged participants.

This session was led by Rachayita Shah and Ariane Hoy at the Bonner Fall Directors Meeting. This session previewed and gained feedback on aspects of the series designed to help upper class students (specifically juniors) understand the sectors (especially nonprofit) and how they might engage in building the capacity of an organization. This series also focuses on student career development, helping them identify future pathways.

Members are empowered to engage in action steps of implementing kindness in their lives and brainstorm, design, and act upon their own ideas with the help of caring peers. Members and friends of Pay It Forward help plant the seeds of kindness.
7. Vision Pay It Forward @ UNH aims to become one of the premier service organizations at the University of New Hampshire. It is the organization’s hope to connect students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members in powerful flow of kindness in a community and see tangible results of that impact of kindness throughout.
