WHERE SPACE BECOMES A PLACE
KLYDE WARREN PARK
An urban park constructed over an existing
freeway, it has immediately been welcomed
by the people because it offers a variety of
activities and amenities, such as a children’s
park with water features, the reading room,
the restaurant, and the event lawn.
LEGIBILITY
a place that has a clear image and is
easy to understand
promote legibility through
development that provides
recognizable routes, intersections
and landmarks to help people find
their way around.
ADAPTABILITY
a place that can change easily
promote adaptability through development
that can respond to changing social,
technological and economic conditions
