We developed an iPad racing game to increase students’ math fluency with an architecture that enables rapid prototyping of game features. The game is unique in that it is configurable in both content and behavior, allowing educational researchers, without programming, to quickly build a wide range of experiments to gauge educational gains. For example, researchers can change game parameters, in-game feedback, the reward structure or even make interface changes. Students have been very enthusiastic about the game. Initial tests show big differences in the way students approach the speed/accuracy tradeoff inherent in playing the game. Our hypothesis is that students’ approach reflects both their understanding and motivation. Robust instrumentation enables a deeper understanding of students’ learning and experiences within the game.

Dear Students/Parents
APEX INSTITUTE has been established with sincere and positive resolve to do something rewarding for ENGG. / PRE-MEDICAL aspirants. For this the APEX INSTITUTE has been instituted to provide a relentlessly motivating and competitive atmosphere.
We at 'Apex Institute' are committed to provide our students best quality education with ethics. Moving in this direction, we have decided that unlike other expensive and 5star facility type institutes who are huge investors and advertisers, we shall not invest huge amount of money in advertisements. It shall rather be invested on the betterment, enhancement of quality and resources at our center.
We are just looking forward to have 'word-of-mouth' publicity instead. Because, there is only a satisfied student and his/her parents can judge an institute's quality and it's faculty members coaching.
Those coaching institutes, who are investing highly on advertisements, are actually, wasting their money on it, in a sense. Rather, the money should be invested on highly experienced faculty members and on teaching gears.
We all at 'Apex' are taking this initiative to improve the quality of education along-with each student's development and growth.

Test Bank Statistics for Business and Economics 8th edition by Carlson & Thor...bussinessw959
This is a sample from "Test Bank Statistics for Business and Economics 8th Edition by Carlson & Thorne & Newbold".
About the main textbook:
The book “Statistics for Business and Economics, 8th Edition” by William Carlson, Betty Thorne, and Paul Newbold, is a comprehensive resource aimed at enabling students to conduct rigorous analysis of applied problems in business and economics, rather than merely running simple applications. This edition is noted for being more mathematically advanced than many other texts in the field, thus preparing students to become stronger analysts, which is vital for their future managerial roles.
The 8th edition has been updated to provide better contexts for learning how statistical methods can be applied to real-world problems. It includes new data sets from major research projects, enhances learning with new case studies that offer large and small sample analyses, and covers a wide range of topics from descriptive statistics to time series analysis.
Furthermore, this edition comes with access to MyStatLab, a robust online platform powered by Pearson MathXL technology, which offers extensive resources including algorithmically generated homework exercises for unlimited practice, essay questions for tests, and other learning tools tailored to enhance student success in statistics.
This blend of theoretical and practical approaches ensures that the textbook is not only an educational tool but also a practical guide for students aiming to apply statistical analysis in business and economics scenarios

Current Trends of the UPSC (IAS) Preliminary Exam
Colossal dynamism – The Preliminary exam has evolved from a merely memory-based exam to an application-based exam, demanding extensive coverage of current events and their inter linkage with the breadth of static knowledge an aspirant is expected to have.
Moreover, in recent years UPSC (IAS) Preliminary Exam in particular, has become increasingly unpredictable – every year there's an enormous variation in the proportions of static vs. dynamic questions.
However, mere extensive reading from various sources, one soon finds out, is not the solution. For there is no limit to the information available, and none can restrict the scope of UPSC (IAS) Preliminary Exam.
This shows the relative toughness of the Preliminary stage (success ratio of 3:100) vis-à-vis Mains (1:5) and the Interview (1:3).
