2. Role/ Responsibilities:
• Monitor HSE performance regarding procedures & performances by conducting periodic audits for service
facilities and jobsite locations for compliance against the Company HSE standards & Customer’s
expectations. Reporting to Project Manager.
• Investigate work-related injuries and accident/incidents for the purpose of reducing future accident/incidents
and minimize cost to the Company, at the same time ensuring personnel are returned to productive status
at earliest opportunity. Participate in preparation of material and evidences for Company use in hearings,
lawsuits, and insurance investigations.
• Coordinate and conduct appropriate occupational health hygiene & safety training programs designed to
increase proficiency in safe working practices and promote safety awareness. Motivate personnel toward a
higher level of HSE involvement and promote the participation of all employees in continuous improvement
of their work environment by raising the general safety awareness.
• Monitor trends related to all employees work-related injuries and illnesses and facilitates resolution of
companywide safety issues. Stay abreast of government regulations to ensure compliance and assists
management personnel with the implementation.
• Conducting random visit & meeting with site personnel and contractor to highlight the unsafe acts and
conditions observed during inspection and suggests remedial measures to eliminate the hazards.
• Coordinating with project management team and providing consultation and recommendation on HSE
requirements on all phases of execution.
• Conduct and assist line staff for TBT, Induction and site specific awareness training for new entrants.
• Carry out Hazard analysis, Hazard identification, Risk assessment and Safe Plan of Action for various
activities of the project and recommends control measures to eliminate / minimize the hazards to as low as
reasonably practicable level.
• Assist senior management in the formulation of HSE policy, objective, safe operating procedures for
continual improvement of HSE management system.
• Preparation of traffic diversion plans and drawings, Method Statement, Waste management, Emergency
management system, HSE documentation etc.
