I have more than 10 years’ experience on directing Environmental,
Health, and Safety (EHS) projects for industrial facilities (oil & gas civil
construction areas) including implementation of the Safety Management
System, Loss Prevention Engineering Practices and Economic
Principles, Facility Design, Fire and Safety Codes, Standards and
Specifications, Incident Investigation and Root Causes Identification,
Compliance Audit, Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Analysis, Process
Safety, Management of Change and Behavioral Base Safety.
I have an MSc in Environmental Engineering & Management; BSc in
Chemical Engineering and an International Diploma in Occupational
Safety and Health (“Distinction”). I have a track record on EHS
management system implementation and directing major technical
studies and surveys to develop loss control methods, procedures,
programs and mechanisms to eliminate or reduce loss.
I am a dedicated, well-structured, flexible and service-minded, focused
on delivering high quality results, a good team player, but also work
equally well independently.

Jan 2016-Present Snr EHS Engineer Bangladesh Bridge Authority
Bangladesh Bridge Authority is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Road Transport & Bridges in
Bangladesh, I am involving for the Dhaka elevated expressway (47 km includes 31 ramps) as a Senior EHS
Engineer and responsible for managing all environment and safety issues.
Accountability • Team member for developing Project budget ($ 1 billion);
• Implementation of Project EHS program and occupational safety and health regulation in
regional operations;
• Managing the main contractor;
• Conducting reviews of potential project risk and identifying potential mitigation measures;
• Maintaining expert knowledge of specific requirements imposed by governmental agencies
and Company policies and procedures;
• Act as the technical expert and provide direction to less experienced personnel.
May 2014 – Dec 2015 HSE Engineer (Head of HSE) Halliburton Bangladesh
Halliburton is one of the world largest providers of product service and solutions to the global energy industry, and
corporate headquarter in Houston. I was involved as a HSE Engineer for Bangladesh operation and directly report
to Country Manager.

established to ensure compliance with applicable standards, requirements, processes and
identified best practices;
• Participates in diverse activities such as plan development and implementation, proposal
review, incident investigation report review, and performance assessments;

Nov 2010 – April 2014 EHS Engineer Santos Bangladesh
An Australian energy pioneer since 1954, Santos is a leading oil and gas producer, supplying Australian and
Asian customers. I was head of EHS department in Santos Bangladesh Operations; The Santos Bangladesh
scope covers exploration, production and development activities with fixed gas processing unit. I was involved for
all three areas where 70% of time based in head office in Dhaka and Australia and 30% time based in offshore
platform, offshore rig and onshore gas processing plant.
Accountability • EHS Plans and Implementation- set up EHS KPI and develop, implement and maintain EHS
plans and progamme;
• EHS Risk Management- Team Leader for update of Field Safety Case and Hazard
Management that includes HAZOP, HAZID and QRA;
• EHS Training- Mentor, coach and develop the local EHS staffs by providing training on ISO
14001, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001;
• Emergency Preparedness and Response- Develop, implement and maintain onsite and off-
site Emergency Response plan;
• Incident investigation and Reporting- Team leader for significant incident investigation;

Edinburgh. My role was based in Dhaka and HSE support to Sangu gas processing operations and other projects.
Accountability Reporting to the Director-Ops and Engineering, managed safety programs, site inspections & audits,
safety controls and ISO 14001 certification
• Developed and maintained the country specific HSE KPI and ER plans, conduct ER exercise;
• Acted as Safety Lead on all projects and plans, designs, implements and evaluates
environmental and safety standards and processes which enables the company meets
regulatory and compliance requirements for maintaining a safe workplace;
• Created company Environmental Management System Manual and secured ISO 14001
certification;
• Led the significant incident investigation;

Jul 2007 – June 2008 Drilling Project HSE Manager Cairn Energy Singapore
Cairn Energy is an independent Scottish oil and gas exploration and production company headquartered in Edinburgh. It had
operational interests in Bangladesh and I was part of drilling team as a project EHS Manager. Drilling team worked from
Singapore in the planning phase about six months prior to mobilization of the rig.
Accountability • Develop and maintain the project HSE KPI and Plans;
• Conduct hazards identification workshop (HAZID), risk assessment (QRA),
emergency response exercise;
• Interface with contractors and ensure their HSE management systems and plans are
aligned to the project needs;
• Conduct HSE audits for Rig, Vessels, Ware Berge, Helicopter and all others
equipment’s to ensure compliance with HSES international standards;
• Ensure compliance to ISM / ISPS / ISO 14001 and assist with interpretation of new
QM/HSE regulations from relevant entities.

May 2006 - Jun 2007 Sangu Gas Plant EHS Engineer Cairn Energy Bangladesh
Cairn Energy had a fixed gas processing unit at Sangu terminal in Bangladesh which processes over 120 MMSCF of natural gas
per day and I was involved for Gas Plant EHS Engineer
