IIT DELHI THESIS
Title - To study the morphological, thermal, mechanical and tribological properties of lubricated PEK/Cenosphere
composites.
Supervisor - Dr. Bhabani k. Satapathy
Description - The objective of the project is to incorporate metal chalcogenides like MoS2 in polyether ketone matrix
as lubricants and cenosphere as reinforcement. The composite is processed in twin screw extruder and injection
molded specimens are subjected to various mechanical and thermal testing .The tribological studies including steady
state analysis and Taguchi analysis are performed.

Trainee Engineer having an exposure to twin screw extruder, stock shape extruder, injection molding machine
and freeze blending.
 Effectively contributed in designing of soft screw for processing of less thermally stable PEKK material.
