ONSHORE WORK EXPERIENCE AT JC INTERNATIONAL LIMITED –Jan 2011 till date
 Supervision of pre-use checks, in-service inspection and thorough examination of lifting equipment.
 Supervise third party equipment inspectors
 Ensure that lifting equipment safety devices on the crane such as: slack wire limiter, telescopic
limiter, crane level indicator, sea state, control station limiter, etc are functional before crane use.
 Development and improvement of work procedure to ensure no fatalities or incidence during lifting
operations.
 Ensure that lifting gears / accessories and lifting appliances for hoisting persons are given a six
monthly thorough examination and also ensure a twelve monthly examination on all lifting machines
and appliances.
 Ensure that lifting equipment are properly marked with a unique identification number, Safe Working
Load and inspection date.
 Ensure that lifting equipment are selected based on their capability, SWL or WLL.
 Supervise reporting of pre-use inspection, in-service inspection and thorough examination in
compliance to LOLER regulation 10.
 Supervise documentation of reports of thorough examination, NDT, Certificate of conformity and
Certificate of incorporation, ensuring that reports of thorough examination and NDT reports are
filed for two years, while certificate of conformity and certificate of incorporation are kept for as
long as the equipment is in use in compliance to LOLER regulation 11.
 Ensure that copies of defect or non compliance report are sent to relevant enforcing authorities for
equipment that are found defective so that they are properly quarantined.
 Ensure proper documentation and filing of load test certificate and inspection certificate of Crane
and other lifting equipment( including Cargo Carrying Units, wire rope slings, shackles, air winches,
