To add text to footage, the author selected the text tool and placed it over the footage. They then changed the text color to green using the color tool, centered the text using the centerline tool, and applied the Impact font. To make cuts between cast members more interesting, the author used the cross dissolve transition tool between clips to fade in and out instead of having black screens. This allowed for a smoother transition between cast members.

However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. To add text i used the
mouse cursor to select the
text tool and place it above
my footage.
After applying my text i went on the graphics
section and used the colour tool to change my text
green from black after i used the centreline tool to
line up my text and used the font tool to apply the
impact font for my text through out the video.

2. To make my footage more flexible
and interesting i added the cross
dissolve tool to do fades in and out
between cast members when
switching, to avoid black screen
between the cast members. I done
that by clicking effects then video
transition > 3D motion > dissolve
and use the cross dissolve tool and
adjusted it in the video timeline.
