Unit 4: People to Inform about Challenging Behaviour
1.
2. You have looked at some some issues of
challenging behaviour.
3. If you have a problem there are people who
can help and stop things becoming a bigger
problem…
(perhaps not!)
4. Firstly, the main employer is the best option,
as they have the most power in the company
and telling them can reduce the chance of
them letting you go.
5. Your boss should be the person you get on
with the most (well, sometimes).
6. The boss's role is to make sure health and
safety rules are in place, and to protect you
from outside companies.
7. He/she is responsible for your safeguarding
and position in the company, so he/she is the
best person to go to if you’re having a
problem.
8. Some workplaces have people that specialize
in employees having emotional and other
problems.
9. These people, who work along the same lines
as social workers, can let your boss know as
well as help you conquer the problem that the
employee is experiencing.
10. If being late is a problem, it can be fixed.
If a bad attitude because of something
outside work is a problem, it can be fixed.
