exercise regarding training his legs with the medium intensity
weights and the decreased rest time.

with as sets would feel much harder and take more time to
complete.

If No Describe:
The next sessions overload and progression plans are
appropriate because there is no progression or overload
going to be taking place in week 7, and since Scott found week
6 a slight struggle and needed assistance, then the halt in
progression was very appropriate. The reason I originally put
no progression plans in week 7 was because I wanted Scott to

Similarities and Differences between
Previous Task, Week 4 and Week 8
Similarities
After the 8 weeks of training and reviewing Scott at this final finishing point, there are some
similarities regarding his API/ASA and Profiling Wheel. Beginning with speed, a similarity
throughout the whole eight week period is that the API rating from Scott for speed has stayed the
same at a 6. Regarding speed there are no other similarities. With power, there are a few
similarities which are shown, such as Scotts coach not increasing his rating of Scotts power from a
7 throughout. Also Scotts API score has stayed at an 8 during the course of the eight weeks. A
final similarly shown is my scoring of Scott's power, which has stayed at 6 from week four to week
eight.
Differences
After the 8 weeks of training and reviewing Scott at this final finishing point, there are some
differences regarding his API/ASA and Profiling Wheel. Beginning with speed a difference is that
my rating of Scott’s speed has increased from a 7 to an 8 during the whole eight week period.
Another is Scotts coaches rating of his speed has increased from a 6 in the previous task, to a 7 at
week four and an 8 in week eight. This is the same as Scotts API scoring who started at a 6 and
finished at an 8. Moving onto power a difference is that my rating for Scott went from a 4 in the
previous task to a 6 after four weeks. Another difference is Scotts ASA rating increasing from a 6
in the previous task, to a 7 at week four and an 8 in week 8. The fact all these differences have
taken place is because Scott, myself and his coach have all seen improvements in his performance
due to the recent training programme which he has undergone.
