The story revolves around a couple, Nicole and Mark, who get engaged in a public park, prompting their heartbroken ex-partners, Connor and Ciara, to plot revenge during the upcoming wedding. As tensions rise, the ceremony becomes chaotic when Connor and Ciara publicly object to the marriage, revealing their own unresolved feelings. Ultimately, the vicar declares Nicole and Mark husband and wife amidst a surprising turn where Connor and Ciara also acknowledge their feelings for each other.

1. A COUPLE’S CATASTROPHE

2. FADE IN:
EXT. Public Park – MID-AFTERNOON (5PM)
We zoom into the centre of Heath Town Park to under a
tree, which is within the Heath Town area of the city of
Wolverhampton.
Nicole Kelly (seventeen) and Mark Francos (eighteen) are
holding hands and sitting under a tree in the centre of
the park. Mark then move to his bag, opens it and pulls
out a box. Nicole instantly puts her hands over her mouth
in shock realising what the item is.
Mark then stands up and kneels on to his right knee, after
a moment of hesitation.
A Wide Shot on Camera
Mark
Nicole-would you do the greatest honour of marrying me?
Will you marry me?
Car horn beeps for 1-½ seconds
Nicole
Yes Mark!!
Mark
I love you forever and ever
Nicole
Stop it. You’re making me cry!
Both share a hug 10 seconds long and share two kisses on
the lips.
The couple stands up, holding hands and walk very happily
down the park path sharing one more kiss along the way.
This lasts for around 8 seconds with the kiss half way
through.
Turns to black for 2 seconds
Fades in to next scene with high tempo music & footage of
living room showing people looking shocked.

3. INT. LIVING ROOM – LATE MORNING (11AM)
Low Angle Camera Shot, showing the post drop through the
letterbox on to the floor. Connor Hill (fifteen) runs to
the front door, picks up the correspondence and comes
back into the living run-all very quietly.
Ciara O’Dounaghue (sixteen), Connor’s closest friend who
is at his house at the same time, places some of the post
on to a table.
One of the pieces is addressed to Connor
Ciara’s left hand is placed on Connor’s shoulder
Ciara
What’s this for you?
Connor
I have not an idea. Let’s see shall we…
Connor opens the envelope and displays a very shocked
face
Ciara
What’s up babe? You don’t seem very happy
Connor
Look at this-it’s an invite for us both to attend
Nicole’s and Mark’s wedding in 3 months time at Himley
Hall
Ciara
You’ve got to be kidding me?!
Connor
It certainly isn’t I’m afraid-they broke both our hearts;
why can’t we break there’s??
Both stomp to the front room wall and Connor pins the
invite to the wall in anger
Fades to black-high pitch music plays at same time

4. INT: BEDROOM – EARLY MORNING (2AM)
FLASHBACK
The way Connor broke up, through an argument with Nicole
and Ciara split with Mark, being down to her hitting him
over the head will be shown back and forth whiles they
both toss and turn a huge amount, on both sides of the
bed.
Ciara
ARHHHH!!
Ciara is awoken from flashback and screams considerably;
she hits the bed with her hand in frustration
Ciara
Why did this have to happen?
Falls back on to pillow and slowly back to sleep-takes 15
seconds
Connor
Don’t worry; we’ll come out as winners…
Connor says this down Ciara’s ear whispering and in a
tired sounding voice
INT: LIVING ROOM’s – MID MORNING (10AM)
Switch between both couples planning the wedding and the
plan to ruin it. Across 40 seconds, we will see switching
every 5 seconds and see Mark & Nicole look at things such
as pictures of possible venues, dresses and the final few
invites.
Connor & Ciara will be seen drawing visual plans of how
they wish to carry out wrecking the marriage & what they
wish to say to everybody in objection of them tying the
knot.
Nicole uploads a Facebook post about trip to a Suit shop
for Mark, ahead of the ceremony in 4 days time, which is
seen by Connor.

5. throughout this scene.
EXT: CHURCH – MID AFTERNOON (2PM)
Connor & Ciara make their journey to the church where the
delegation is awaiting. There is 30 seconds of their walk
to outside the church with footage of various locations
on the route, and a 10 second wait outside.
Nicole then arrives at the church in a car and everybody
heads inside.
Connor & Ciara
Congratulations are in order for both of you…
This is said in an angered voice to Nicole and Mark
Nicole
Thanks you two
Mark
What on earth are you doing here?
Briefly cuts to black-intense and shock type music kicks
in
INT: CHURCH – MID AFTERNOON (3:30PM)
The end of the marriage ceremony is nearing and all so
far has gone to plan so far. The Vicar stands and asks
the customary question:
Vicar
Before I proceed and legally declare them husband and
wife, I ask that any person present objecting to this,
please stand now and make your reasons known.
Connor
I object.
Ciara
Objection!
Considerable amount of “huh” by guests made

6. Vicar
Thank you for your objection’s-please young lady explain
your objection
Ciara
We are aren’t happy seeing you both together; it’s our
time to break your hearts-as you broke us two to pieces
Nicole
What on earth are you talking about? Is it all because of
you struggling to find permanent love?
Connor
Of course not! It doesn’t make sense
Vicar
Could you give me a better answer than that please
Connor?
A guest of Nicole & Mark; Paul (forty two) stands to
interrupt
Paul
What reason do you both have for justifying this? You’re
now on the edge of ruining a beautiful love story! Why
can’t you two accept this marriage-and maybe become a
couple yourselves…
Vicar
I shouldn’t really agree with guest’s matters in this
situation, but I believe the same here…
Guests than shout “yeah” in agreement for 3 seconds; this
includes Nicole and Mark
Vicar
Would you both agree?
He says this in a higher voice

7. Connor & Ciara
Yes!
Connor
I’ve actually had a crush on Ciara for quite sometime…
He blushes when saying this
Vicar
Fantastic-the objections are no longer valid; and I can
declare you Nicole & Mark husband and wife. You may now
kiss the bride!
Everybody cheers very loudly for the newly wed couple as
they kiss for 3 seconds whiles Connor and Ciara come
together in the middle of the aisle and share a kiss for
2 seconds.
Camera then zooms out going upward as both couples
embrace and everybody continues to cheer.
Fades to black.
