I recall George Carlin, comedian, and sharp social commentator, voicing his disapproval of school uniforms. Is it not enough they want us to think the same, he said, now they want us to like too? Or something to that song, I do not remember the exact words. Anyway, I think he's a valid point. I still think he is.
Many parents have expressed concern about school uniforms rob students' freedom of expression and violates their personal rights, about having a religious dress code pasted on their children of different religions or non- religions, because they do not have a dress code followed their religion or enough respected, about trying to get their children to make political statements or moral, of the costs involved in the purchase of uniforms and accessories needed.

Uniform for students.
By wearing the same uniform, there is no longer a difference between the rich and the poor so that all students can learn with more confidence and mutual respect. It could be said that the uniforms could be a solution to address the social inequalities that are very prone to occur in very diverse social circumstances that have become hallmark of this nation.
