The document outlines various occupational health and safety policies and programs at Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL), including creating safe work environments, promoting health and safety awareness, investigating accidents, providing medical services and examinations for employees, monitoring occupational health hazards, and enforcing general safety precautions. PPL aims to ensure a healthy and safe work environment for employees and reduce accidents, injuries, and illnesses through these initiatives.
This document provides an overview of qualitative data analysis. It discusses that qualitative data analysis involves organizing, accounting for, and making sense of data by noting patterns, themes, and regularities. There is no single correct way to analyze qualitative data, as the method should fit the purpose. The researcher must be clear on what the analysis aims to do, such as describe, interpret, discover patterns, or explain. How the data is analyzed and presented will depend on the type of qualitative study and number of data sources. Analysis involves coding, categorizing, and grouping data to identify relationships and themes in order to draw conclusions. Displays are used to help make sense of relationships between codes and build themes.
This document discusses topics related to conducting research such as generating research topics, reliability and validity, literature reviews, deductive and inductive reasoning, research ethics, and institutional review boards (IRBs). It provides definitions and discussions of key concepts like reliability, validity, literature reviews, and the relationship between reliability and validity. It also offers guidance on estimating reliability, finding research topics, searching for literature, writing literature reviews, and the differences between deductive and inductive reasoning.
The document discusses considerations for data collection plans including objectives, scope, sources, methods, units of measurement, and accuracy levels. It defines primary and secondary data, as well as qualitative and quantitative data. Sources of primary data include interviews, questionnaires, and observation, while published/unpublished sources and databases are sources of secondary data. Secondary data has advantages like being easy to generalize from, economical, and quick, but reliability can be difficult to determine and inherent limitations may exist. Questionnaires should be clearly written following principles like being precise, unbiased, and pilot tested.
This document discusses instructional design and its basic principles. It defines instructional design as a systematic process of developing instructional materials to ensure quality learning. The key phases of instructional design models are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Following a systematic model helps identify learning needs, develop appropriate content and delivery methods, implement the instructional program, and evaluate learning outcomes.
Action research is a method used by teachers and educators to study practical problems and improve their practices. It involves identifying an issue, collecting and analyzing data, and implementing changes. There are two main types - practical action research focuses on improving specific situations, while participatory action research takes a more social and collaborative approach aimed at emancipation. Action research was developed in the 1930s and involves teachers studying their own classrooms. The process is cyclical as findings are used to revise practices.
Research Methodology (The Transformative Design)Kamal Baharom
This document discusses transformative mixed methods procedures, which aim to address social issues and promote change for marginalized groups. It defines transformative designs as using a basic mixed methods design (convergent, explanatory, exploratory, or embedded) within a theoretical framework oriented towards issues like inequality. Transformative designs are value-based and ideological. The sequential transformative strategy uses two phases guided by a theoretical lens addressing problems like discrimination. The goal is to facilitate reform through understanding issues faced by underrepresented communities.

Sociological inquiry involves the systematic analysis of individual motivations and behaviors within groups and social institutions. The basic goal is to understand observable social phenomena by observing how things were, are, and have or have not changed over time and place. The inquiry procedure involves defining the problem scope, forming concepts, hypotheses, and theories, gathering primary and secondary data, analyzing relationships between independent, dependent, moderating, and intervening variables while controlling for other factors, and verifying findings.
This document provides information about action research methods in education. It discusses:
- Qualitative and quantitative research methods including case studies, surveys, and experiments.
- Action research is conducted by teachers and other education stakeholders to investigate problems and improve student learning. It involves gathering data, analysis, and developing an action plan.
- Examples of action research questions focus on teaching practices that can be improved. The goal is to empower teachers to study their own practices.
School safety management is an important aspect of our lives and our family. This document discusses the school safety management system and how we should proceed with this
This document discusses accident prevention theory and risk management. It covers several accident causation theories including the domino theory, human factors theory, accident/incident theory, epidemiological theory, systems theory, and combination theory. The domino theory proposed by Heinrich in the 1930s views accidents as resulting from a chain of events beginning with social environment and ancestry factors. The human factors theory attributes accidents to overload, inappropriate responses, and inappropriate activities leading to human error. The accident/incident theory extends this by including ergonomic traps and decisions to err. Risk assessment and management are also described as important aspects of accident prevention.

Təlim — müxtəlif elementlərin qarşılıqlı əlaqəyə girərək yaratdığı mürəkkəb sistemdir. Təlim metodu isə həmin sistemə uyğun olaraq reallaşan prosesin ən mühüm anlayışlarından biridir. Təlimin məzmununda baş verən dəyişikliklər təlim metodlarında yenilənmənin aparılmasını zəruri edir. Eləcə də sosial dəyişikliklər, elm və texnikada baş verən ciddi yeniliklər uzun illər ərzində tətbiq edilən ənənəvi metodlara fərqli baxışın yaranmasına səbəb olub. Problemlə bağlı sovet pedaqoji elmində aparılan tədqiqatların nəticələri 1970-ci illərdə müzakirəyə təqdim edilib. İstər ümumpedaqoji, istərsə də xüsusi metodikaların işləyib hazırladığı təsnifatlar, təlim metodlarının sistemi böyük diskussiyaya səbəb olub. 1990-cı illərin sonlarından başlayaraq ölkəmizdə diqqət yetirilən fəal təlim metodları, onların təsnifatı məsələləri də birmənalı qarşılanmayıb. Məqalədə diqqət məsələnin bu cəhətinə cəlb edilib, ədəbiyyat təlimi metodlarının təsnifatı üzərində daha çox dayanılıb. Təlim metodları qruplaşdırılarkən ədəbiyyat fənninin özəlliyi nəzərə alınıb, təlimin başlıca mərhələləri ön plana çəkilib.
Training is a complex system created by the interaction of various elements. The training method is one of the most important concepts of the training process realized according to the system. Changes in the content of the training make it necessary to update the training methods. Also, social changes, serious innovations in science and technology have led to a different view of the traditional methods applied for many years. In the 1970s, the results of the research conducted in the Soviet pedagogical science related to the problem were presented for discussion. Classifications developed by both general pedagogical and special methodologies, the system of training methods have caused a great discussion. Since the late 1990s, active training methods and their classification issues have not been met unambiguously in our country. In the article, attention was drawn to this aspect of the issue, and more focus was placed on the classification of literature teaching methods. While grouping the training methods, the peculiarity of the literature subject was taken into account, and the main stages of the training were brought to the fore.

tədqiqat zamanı rəhbər tutulan metodoloji
prinsiplərin məcmusu başa düşülür.
3. Metod nədir – Metod tədqiqatçının, jurnalistin,
müəllimin, müəyyən məqsədə çatmaq,
vəzifəni yerinə yetirmək, araşdırma aparmaq
üçün sistemli şəkildə atdığı addımlar, istifadə
etdiyi üsulların cəmidir
4. Fundamental tədqiqatlara – yeni biliklərin
istifadəsi ilə əlaqədar hər hansı bir məqsəd
olmadan onların əldə edilməsinə yönəldilmiş
eksperimental və ya nəzəri tədqiqatlar aid
edilir.
Tətbiqi tədqiqatlar – konkret praktiki
məsələlərin həll edilməsi məqsədi ilə yeni
biliklərin əldə edilməsinə yönəldilmiş orijinal
işlərdən ibarətdir.
6. Tədqiqatın obyekti. İqtisadi elmi araşdırmalarda
tədqiqatın obyekti– bütöv iqtisadiyyat və ya onun
ayrı-ayrı sahələri cıxış edə bilər.
Tədqiqatın subyekti–iqtisadi inkişafın, tərəqqinin
nail olunması ücün secilmiş fərqli problemlər ola
bilər: insan resursların sosia-iqtisadi məsələləri;
maliyyə resursların səmərəli istifadəsi; əhalinin
social müdafiyəsinin gücləndirilməsi və sairə
məsələr.
7. aparılan tədqiqatın nəticələrinin
ümumiləşdirilməsi və sistemləşdirilməsi yolu ilə
təlimi prosesinin öyrənilməsinə, problemlərin
üzə çıxarılmasına xidmət edir. Nəzəri
tədqiqatların tətbiq edilməsində əsas məqsəd
öyrənilən proses və hadisəyə aid
qanunauyğunluqların aşkar edilməsinə və
formalaşdırılmasına nail olmaqdır. Bu metod
toplanmış ədəbiyyat və elektron materiallarının
təhlilinə əsaslanır. Bu metodun köməyi ilə
əvvəllər digər tədqiqatçıların bu sahədə
apardıqları işlər öyrənilir və bu, tədqiqatçıya
müəyyən bilik və məlumatlar toplamağa imkan
verir.
8. Məntiqi metodlara – analiz, sintez,
induksiya, deduksiya, ümumiləşdirmə, tipoloji
yanaşma, ideallaşdırma və analogiya daxildir.
Formalaşdırılmış – sistem- struktur,
müqayisə, tarixi yanaşma, statistik,
modelləşdirmə daxildir.
9. Analoq metodu- öyrənilən obyekt və
hadisələrin hər hansı bir əlamətlərinin ,
xüsusiyyətlərinin, əlaqələrinin əsasında
oxşarlıqlarının aşkar edilməsinə əsaslanır.
Tarixi metod -Bu metod məsələyə müxtəlif
illərdə olan yanaşmanı üzə çıxarır, müxtəlif
dövrlərdə şagirdlərin coğrafiya fənni üzrə
təlim nəticələri, bilik və bacarıqlarının
qiymətləndirilməsinin müqayisəsi ilə təhlil
olunur.
10. Modelləşdirmə
Bu metodun mahiyyəti – hər hansı coğrafi hadisə və
ya prosesə aid digər formada oxşarını vermək və
onu tətbiq etməklə aparmaqdır. Belə ki,
tədqiqatçı hər hansı dərs mövzusunun
konspektini təklif etdiyi metoda əsasən model
olaraq təqdim edir və müəllimin işini şagirdlərin
fəaliyyətini fərz edir, alınacaq nəticələrə dair
proqnozlar verir.
Analogiya və ya bənzətmə Bu metodunun köməyi
ilə coğrafi obyekt, hadisə və proseslərə dair
təsəvvürləri formalaşdırmaq, onun
özünəməxsusluğunu canlandırmaq mümkündür.
11. İdeallaşdirma
Bu metod öyrənilən obyektə müəyyən əlamətləri
özündə birləşdirən vahid, bütöv kimi baxmağı və bu
zaman digər əlamətləri nəzərə almamağı tələb edir.
Tipoloji yanaşma
Bu metodun mahiyyəti öyrənilən coğrafi hadisə və
obyketləri hər hansı xüsusiyyətinə, müəyyən
əlamətlərinə görə qruplaşdırmağa, təsnifat etməyə
imkan yaradır. Məsələn təlim metodlarının təsnifatı
əyani vasitələrin qruplaşdırılması, müstəqil və praktik
işlərin bölgüsü, fəal dərsin mərhələri üzrə coğrafi
biliklərin məzmunu və s.
12. Sistem-struktur yanaşma
Bu metod mürəkkəb quruluşa malik olan hər hansı obyekt və
hadisənin bütövlükdə yəni bir-biri ilə əlaqədə olan sistem
kimi öyrənməyə imkan verir . Məsələn, coğrafiyanın tədrisi
prosesində əsas diqqət müəllim və şagirdlərin fəaliyyətləri
arasındakı əlaqənin araşdırılmasına yönəldilir. Coğrafiya
dərslərinin planlaşdırılması zamanı system-struktur
yanaşma metodunun tətbiq edilməsi məzmun standartının
reallaşdırılmasına, təlim nəticələrinin yerinə yetrilməsinə,
dərsin mərhələləri üzrə tələblərin yerinə yetrilməsinə,
əyani vəsaitlərin mövcudluğu və məzmuna müvafiq
olmasına. Dərsdə refleksiyanın yaradılmasına system kimi
baxılır.
Müqayisə metodu
Bu metodunun tətbiqi şagirdlərdə xüsusilə tənqidi təfəkkürün
inkişafına səbəb olur, tədqiq edilən məsələnin
özünəməxsus xüsusiyyətlərini daha aydın təsəvvür etməyə
imkan verir.
13. RIYAZI- STATISTIK TƏDQIQAT METODLARI
Bu metodun köməyilə tədqiqatın modeli
yaradılır, informasiyanın dəqiqliyi yoxlanılır,
fakt və hadisələr təhlil olunur və
qiymətləndirilir. Bu metod şagirdlərin
müvəffəqiyyətinin müəyyən olunmasında
istifadə olunan bal sisteminə əsaslanır. Bu
statistik məlumatlar nəticələri analiz etmək
üçün metodik baza rolunu oynayır. Riyazi
metod eləcə də əldə edilən məlumatları
təsnif etməyə, onları müəyyən
xüsusiyyətlərinə görə qruplaşdırmağa imkan
verir.
14. Emprik tədqiqat metodları
Tədqiq edilən problem üzrə faktların
toplanması, əldə edilən nəticələrin
yoxlanılması və dəqiqləşdirilməsi məqsədi ilə
istifadə olunur. Emprik metodlara sorğu
anketləri; söhbət; dialoq, monitorinq;
müşahidə; eksperiment; qruplarla iş;
müsahibə; test tapşırıqları daxildir.
15. Müşahidə
Tədqiq olunan prosesi müəyyən vaxt ərzində ardıcıl olaraq
müşahidə etmək, nəticələri təhlil etmək, müəllim və
şagird fəaliyyətini düzgün qiymətləndirmək üçün ən
qiymətli vasitədir. Müşahidə metodu ciddi və obyektiv
aparılmalıdır, dərs, ekskursiya və ya dərsdənkənar
məşğələlərdə yerinə yetirilməlidir. Müşahidələr sistematik
və məqsədyönlü şəkildə aparılmalıdır. Müşahidə olunan
obyekt dəqiq təsvir edilməlidir.
Anket-sorğu
Bu metodu müəllim, şagird və valideynlər arasında
aparılmalıdır. Seçilmiş mövzuya aid suallara yazılı cavab
tələb olunmalıdır. Qısa vaxt ərzində çox saylı
respondentlərdən kifayət qədər suala cavab alınması,
onların müqayisəli təhlili,nəticənin çıxarılması
tədqiqatçıya nisbətən asan yolla geniş faktlar toplamağa
imkan verir. Anket sorğudakı suallar dəqiq olmalı,
respondetlərdə çaşqınlıq yaratmamamlı, onlara öz
təkliflərini vermək üçün şərait yaratmalıdır.
16. Yoxlama yazi işləri
Emprik metodlar içərisində əhəmiyyəti böyükdür. Verilmiş problem əsasında
respondetlərin hazırlıq səviyyələri daha ətraflı təhlil oluna bilir. Tədqiqtın
mövzusuna uyğun olaraq respondentə verilən problem haqqında geniş
yazır və bu tədqiqatın aparılmasında istifadə olunur.

sərbəst düşüncəni müəyyən etməkdir. Essedə məqsəddəki fikri bildirmək
üçün yanaşma, təhlildən istifədə edilir. Esse problemin sərbəst şəkildə
qoyuluşudur..
Essenin strukturu 3 hissədən ibarət olur.
1) Giriş;
2) Əsas hissə;
3) Nəticə.
Esse-yə verilən tələblər
Essenin həcmi kiçik olmalı ( 400-600 söz) , konkret olaraq bir məsələni əhatə
etməli və həmin məsələdən kənara çıxmaq məsləhət görülmür,məntiqi
ardıcıllığa əməl etmək tələb olunur. Esse səmimi yazılmalı, rəsmi
olmamalı, ədəbi dilin normalarına, orfoqrafiya qaydalarına əməl edilməli,
durğu işarələri yerli-yerində qoyulmalıdır
17. Dialoq metodu
Ardıcıl sual vermə üsulu ilə tədqiqat üçün tələb olunan
materialların respondentdən alınmasıdır. Ardıcıl
sualvermə üsulu ilə respondentin söhbət edilir və
tədqiqat üçün lazım olan materiallar əldə edilir.
Sənədlərinin öyrənilməsi
Tədqiq olunan problemin öyrənilməsində bu metod çox
mühüm metod kimi istifadə olunur. Bura arxiv
sənədləri, sinif jurnalları, summativ qiymətləndirmə
sənədləri, formativ qiymətləndirmə jurnalları,
metodbirləşmənin iş planı, təcrübə avadanlıqları, bir
sayı, keyfiyyəti, istifadə yararlığı yoxlanılmalı və
mənbələrə istinad edilməlidir.
Test tapşiriqlari – son illər daha geniş tətbiq edilir.
Daha çox sayda faktik material əldə etməyə imkan
verir. Testlərin cavablarının ümumiləşdirilməsi
tədqiqatçıya sistemləşdirmək, təsnif etmək imkanı
verir.
