Parenting is a stage of
life's journey where the
milestones come about
every fifty feet.
 ~Robert Brault
“Kids spell love
   T-I-M-E.”
Your children need
 your presence more
 than your presents.
 “My father
 didn’t tell me
 how to live, he
 lived, and let
 me watch him
 do it.”
“Don’t worry
 that children
 never listen to
 you; worry that
 they are always
 watching you.”
 “If you want your
    children to improve,
    let them overhear the
    nice things you say
    about them to
    others.”
 “Too often we give
    children answers to
    remember rather
    than problems to
    solve.”
Stop trying to perfect
 your child, but keep
 trying to perfect your
 relationship with him
 “While we teach our
    children about
    life, they teach us
    what life is all about
 Make suggestions
 and offer choice
 while dealing with a
 problem
 Listen when your
    children talk.
 Be a good listener
There is no point in being
  grown up if you can't
  be childish sometimes
It is better to bind your
   children to you by a
   feeling of respect and by
   gentleness than by fear
When you teach your
son, you teach your
son's son.
A mother understands
what a child does not
say.
There is always a
moment in childhood
when the door opens
and lets the future in
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you hang up my first
painting on the refrigerator, and I wanted to paint another one.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you feed a stray cat, and I
thought it was good to be kind to animals.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw you make my favorite
cake for me, and I knew that little things are special things.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I heard you say a prayer, and I
believed there is a God I could always talk to.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I felt you kiss me goodnight,
 and I felt loved.

When you thought I wasn’t looking, I saw that you cared, and I
wanted to be everything that I could be.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I LOOKED….and wanted to
say thanks for all the things I saw when you thought I wasn’t
 looking.
