2. “And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I
will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and
your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men
shall see visions, and your old men shall dream
dreams” - Acts 2:17
The Church was created to be the voice
and the vision of God in the world.

3. In a time of prayer and fasting two months ago,
God gave me two words and a clear direction:
 ‘If not you, then who?’
 ‘It’s time to share your vision’
 Challenge and Engage the Young
Adults regarding the vision.

4. Why Church Revitalization?
1. Ghosts – History that cannot be overcome
2. An aging congregation
3. Frequent pastoral leadership changes
4. Location, Location, Location
5. A difficult church to pastor

5. RE-THINK
FROM ‘they come to us’
Synagogues
Temple Worship
TO ‘we go to them’
“Go into all the world and make disciples” (Matt 28:16)

6. RE-ENGAGE
FROM Disillusioned
‘Then all the disciples left him and fled’ (Matt 26:56)
TO Devoted
‘All these with one accord were devoting themselves to
prayer’ (Acts 1:14)

7. RE-UNITE
“I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be
no divisions among you, but that you be united in the
same mind and the same judgment.” – 1 Cor 1:10
Accomplishing ALL God has for us
requires ALL of us and ALL we have.

8. RE-BRAND“For John baptized with water, but you will be
baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from
now.” – Acts 1:5
The shift in mission and vision
required a shift in identity.

9. RE-LAUNCH
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has
come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in
Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the
end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8
God empowers us to move forward.

10. “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so
he may run who reads it.” – Habakkuk 2:2
Achieving the vision requires
unity of vision.

This morning we ask God to
prepare us—ourselves and our
church—for His vision.
