In this talk, Dr. Cori Faklaris of UNC Charlotte provides an overview of current AI capabilities and weaknesses to consider when integrating current AI technologies into the data workflow. The best available, up-to-date information on all fishing and related vessels that appear on the illegal, unregulated, and unreported (IUU) fishing vessel lists published by Regional Fisheries Management Organisations (RFMOs) and related organisations. The aim of the site is to improve the effectiveness of the original IUU lists as a tool for a wide variety of stakeholders to better understand and combat illegal fishing and broader fisheries crime.
To date, the following regional organisations maintain or share lists of vessels that have been found to carry out or support IUU fishing within their own or adjacent convention areas and/or species of competence:

The Combined IUU Fishing Vessel List merges all these sources into one list that provides a single reference point to identify whether a vessel is currently IUU listed. Vessels that have been IUU listed in the past and subsequently delisted (for example because of a change in ownership, or because the vessel is no longer in service) are also retained on the site, so that the site contains a full historic record of IUU listed fishing vessels.
Unlike the IUU lists published on individual RFMO websites, which may update vessel details infrequently or not at all, the Combined IUU Fishing Vessel List is kept up to date with the best available information regarding changes to vessel identity, flag state, ownership, location, and operations.

Ujjwala yojana 2.0

- 2. About UjjawalaYojana 2.0 • prime minister Narendra Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana 2.0 on 10th august 2021 • PM Narendra Modi interacted with some of the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala yojana virtually
- 3. • A total of 1000 women were given the Ujjawala yojana benefit during the video conferencing event. • During the event, the PM also interacted with beneficiaries of the Ujjwala. PM Modi talked to beneficiaries from various state.
- 4. What is Ujjwala 2.0 scheme? • Ujjwala is a scheme that provides LPG connections to low- income family households. • Provide clean cooking fuel, such as LPG, to rural households. • It was first launched in 2016 as ujjwala 1.0 to provide LPG connection • Year union budget (2021-2022) an additional one crore LPG Connection under the scheme has been announced. • Aim to provide deposit-free LPG connections to low-income families.
- 5. Why was ujjwala yojana needed? • Indoor air pollution is the 2nd biggest killer after high blood pressure. • Ac to census 2011, nearly 121 million households used traditional stoves (chulha). • In 2010, indoor air pollution caused two premature deaths every minute due to dirty cooking fuel.
- 6. What are its Benefits? • Ujjwala 2.0 will provide the first refill and hotplate free of cost to the beneficiaries. • Its enrolment procedure will require minimal paperwork. • Migrants will not be required to submit ration or address proof. • It gives easy access to LPG to poor or rural households.
- 7. Beneficiaries Beneficiary are identified from the categories: • All SC/ST households beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana(PMAY) (Gramin) • Antyoday Anna Yojana (AAY) • Forest Dwellers • Most Backward Classes (MBC) • Tea & Ex-Tea Garden Tribes • People residing in Islands • People residing in river islands.
