SciLED ACADEMY
Based on the findings regarding the needs for
innovative e-learning solutions both expressed
by the surveyed business community and
SciLED allied universities and having as an
example of good practice the implemented
solutions by top universities worldwide, the
partners decided to give more substance to this
task by developing a functional e-learning
platform.

VIRTUAL FAB LAB
Virtual Reality app - FabLab shows how the
equipment functions, gives advice and
recommendations on carrying out these operations
effectively and points out the possible defects that
may arise. It also lets students manipulate these
machines virtually.
6. 1. EQF for Footwear Designers and
Product Managers
Footwear comfort, performance and sustainability are determined
during the design and product development process.
• Two existing qualification profiles have been updated by
complementing and adapting the main body of knowledge associated
with the Product Manager and Footwear Designer profiles with
specific comfort and sustainability skills sets.
• To make the best use of the most innovative tools in footwear
science education.
• The multiplicity of qualification profiles means that HE institutions must
respond to students’ need for flexible learning options.
