The BSN 3-N students from CESDEV inaugurated an outreach program in Langob, Guadalupe, Cebu City on September 15, 2007. They were divided into four groups to take blood pressure readings, provide wound care, conduct health teachings on oral hygiene, and feed children. The blood pressure group went house-to-house and encountered a variety of people. The wound care group also visited homes and helped children. The health teaching group instructed children on proper tooth brushing. They distributed toothbrushes. The children were grateful for all the services and interactions with the student nurses.
UC Nursing CESDEV 2 I
On September 29, 2007, nursing students from BSN2-I conducted a health teaching outreach program in Barangay Kalunasan. The students were divided into four teams to provide health teachings to children on proper handwashing, take blood pressure readings, perform wound care, and facilitate food distribution and event organization. With the help of their community instructor Mr. Ronald Quiñones, the outreach was a success, providing health services to the community and creating fond memories for the students through interactions with the children.

Maintaining proper hygiene helps prevent the spread of disease and reinforces social bonds. Overall personal hygiene is an important part of living a successful and fulfilling life.
UC Nursing CESDEV 3 Q Kalunasan Mix
