The document provides an overview of genealogy research for a U3A group. It includes a flowchart outlining the genealogy research process from starting with a pedigree chart to discovering available sources like census records, parish registers, wills and more. It also lists some specific genealogy websites and resources like FindmyPast, Ancestry, FreeBMD and LDS microfiche. The document concludes with welcoming notes, updates on genealogy websites and resources, and a discussion on projects members are working on including wrapping up the Bailey family tree research project and handing materials over to Alan.

Welcome to the Program Your Destiny course. In this course, we will be learning the technology of personal transformation, neuroassociative conditioning (NAC) as pioneered by Tony Robbins. NAC is used to deprogram negative neuroassociations that are causing approach avoidance and instead reprogram yourself with positive neuroassociations that lead to being approach automatic. In doing so, you change your destiny, moving towards unlocking the hypersocial self within, the true self free from fear and operating from a place of personal power and love.

11. FindmyPast updates
• Of the 132 ancient parishes in Hertfordshire, however, only
16 have registers surviving from 1538. The majority of the
others date from the beginning of Queen Elizabeth's reign in
1558. Many registers are sadly defective during the Civil War
and Commonwealth period 1643-1660 and the registers for
the parishes of Caldecote, Flaunden, Ickleford and Sacombe
do not survive before the 18th century. Serious fires at the
parish churches of Northaw and All Saints Hertford severely
damaged their registers.
• In addition to the ancient parishes, there are many more of
modern origin, formed as daughter churches (chapels of ease
or district churches) in large or more populous parishes, for
example, in the town of Watford.
