1. VOL: VII No: 4 ‐ July 2016
From the Founder's Desk
It was a twofold delight for me in the first
week of July. I was in Russia's St.
Petersburg to attend the 20th
International Scientific Congress
”SCIENCE. INFORMATION. SPIRIT”.
While the conference and meetings with luminaries like
Dr. Korotkov opened my mind to new vistas on Energy
fields and Bio-well, St. Petersburg was a feast to my eyes
that will carry unforgettable memories.
The Congress was scheduled from 2nd July to 4th July
2016 at St. Petersburg which was organised by my friend
Dr. Konstantin Korotkov and team. I was accompanied
by Dr. Krishna Madappa, Dr. Avinash Kulkarni and Dr.
B.K.Chandra Shekhar. We were able to interact with
many international speakers in the Congress. I should
congratulate them for organising such a wonderful
Congress.
St. Petersburg is Russia's imperial capital and cultural
center, and a dazzling metropolis whose grandeur is
amazing. Its light and colors are incredible and its history
is haunting. It is the city of the Tzars.
I was fortunate enough to be there during the “White
Nights.” Even though I had heard about the theme, I
had not personally experienced it. In St. Petersburg,
from the second week of June through the first week of
July, “White Nights” are those magical dusky hours that
never fade to black and the city is held spellbound
through the night. Perched at a latitudinal location that
leaves the sun hovering on the horizon, the sky never
darkens beyond the colors of a fading sunset.
Long summer days exist elsewhere in Russia of course,
from Moscow to Yekaterinburg to Yakutsk, but the
White Nights have become an intrinsic part of St.
Petersburg's identity, a celebration of the city's unique
beauty and its role as the country's artistic epicenter.
The White Nights season is the perfect time to be a
tourist in St. Petersburg as it means you literally have
more hours of sunlight to do your sightseeing!
Not only that, shops and restaurants too tend to stay
open late, so you are always able to keep yourself active,
and you don't have that blanket of darkness that causes a
sense of uneasiness in a foreign city to hold you back.
In this issue we have also covered an article on “Life
Style Management” .
This week we are organising several talks by Dr.
B.K.Chandrashekar at various places. I heartily invite
you all to these talks. The details are given in the last
page.
Hope you will find this issue interesting.

Our Life Style
The world is changing and we are evolving every day.
For better and for worse. Stupendous advances are
being made in science and technology and new wonder
drugs are being discovered with remarkable regularity.
Economic growth, modernization & urbanization have
changed the living standards of families.
On the flip side, our connect
with nature has diminished
with time. The scourges of
scarcity have given way to
the problems of plenty. Our
approach to life is to see
quick results at any cost. Our
values of life have become
topsy-turvy. Morality and human relations are at an all-
time low. We kill and maim one another for no reason.
Today's 24x7 world has changed our social life, eating
habits and sleeping patterns. Stress is eating into our
very innards, resulting in rapid escalation of life-style
diseases, even among the younger population. In short,
we live in Vikruti - a state of imbalance.
This is a classic example of the Entropy principle. An
orderly world has slowly transformed into a disorderly
world. We have to be aware and provide structured
intervention, else, beware, chaos will prevail.
Quality of Life
Quality of our life determines our well-being. As per the
Law of Nature, we are all bundles of abundant energy,
spreading joy and dancing our
way through life. Prakruti is our
ideal and natural state of being.
Let us look at the various
dimensions of Quality of Life:
The Physical dimension
comprises our body and the five
senses - touch, sight, sound, smell and taste - and
physical health. The Emotional dimension is made up
of feelings and emotions - love, hate, joy, beliefs and
ideas. The Mental dimension pertains to thinking,
learning, spirit of inquiry, creativity and recreation,
knowledge, skills, attitude, memory and projection. The
Spiritual dimension encompasses sense of purpose
and meaning in life and touches upon moral values and
ethics. The Social dimension has engagement,
relationship and interaction with family, friends, and a
sense of connection and support system. The
Occupational dimension includes satisfaction and
enrichment from one's work and work-life balance. The
Financial dimension indicates economic value for self,
family and society. The Environmental dimension
comprises pleasant, stimulating environments that
support well-being.
“Our every thought, word and behavior affects our
greater health and well-being. And we, in turn, are
affected not only emotionally but also physically and
spiritually.” - GregAnderson
To enhance Quality of Life, Structured Intervention is to
be provided at each of the above touch points, i.e., the
dimensions of Quality of Life.
Quality of Life is Wholeness and Oneness. Since all
dimensions need to work in harmony to achieve Quality
of Life, we need to nurture each one.
Life skills enable individuals to deal effectively with the
demands and challenges of everyday life. Self
awareness is recognition of self. Empathy is having a
successful relationship with society. Critical thinking
helps analyze information and experience objectively.
Creative thinking is a novel perspective of things with
fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. Decision
making helps to take optimal decisions. Problem
solving deals constructively with problems in our lives.
Interpersonal relationship helps us relate positively
with people we interact with. Effective
communication enables us to express ourselves, in
accordance with situations. Coping with stress helps
recognize the source of stress and change our behavior

3. accordingly. Coping with emotions enables us to
respond rather than react.
Transformation of Energy
We are all energy transformers, connected with the
whole universe. All our life processes depend on how
we manage energy. We take in energy from all the
sources around us, organize it, transform it, and return it
to the environment around us. Efficient flow of energy is
essential; disease is the result of any interference with
this flow.
Our Energy System - Key Life Processes
Energy Inputs: These are: 1) oxygen (Breathing), 2)
food (Eating), and 3) sensory stimulation (Sensing)
such as physical touch, heat, light, sound, and other
forms of electromagnetic radiation. In addition,
emotional/spiritual information such as attention,
caring, enthusiasm, and love.
Energy Outputs: Self-Responsibility & Love;
Movement; Feeling; Thinking; Playing & Working;
Communicating; Intimacy; Finding Meaning;
Transcending.
We are channels of energy - energy flowing in, coursing
around, and flowing out. Our life dimensions(physical,
emotional, mental, spiritual etc) determine how much
we take in, what it feels like inside, and how it moves out
into the environment. When the flow is balanced and
smooth, we feel good. When there is interference at any
point - the input, the output, or in between we can feel
empty, confused, pressured, or blocked.
LSD (Lakshmi Saraswati Durga) for Modern
Problems
Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth, fortune, power,
luxury, beauty, fertility, and auspiciousness. Saraswati,
the goddess of knowledge and arts, represents the free
flow of wisdom and consciousness. Goddess Durga
represents Energy. Financial concerns are a major
stress point. Once we understand Lakshmi, most of our
stresses will disappear. If we have the right knowledge
relevant to our work, it becomes our power. Saraswati
would have blessed us. Thirdly, Durga, the divine
energy, also stands for a fortress. Our body should be
like a fortress against any disease. Once we enhance
our immunity, our body becomes “Durga” to any
disease. These three deities Lakshmi, Saraswati,
Durga - represent three aspects of the divine Shakti.
Lakshmi is the expression of Iccha Shakti(will);
Saraswati is the personification of Jnana Shakti
(wisdom) and Kriya Shakti(action) is expressed through
Durga. Lakshmi destroys mental obstacles, Saraswati
destroys ignorance about our true divine nature and
Durga destroys gross obstacles on the physical plane.
Transformation Tips on the Highway of Life
Once we take responsibility for the situations in our life,
we respond rather than react to situations. Identify
areas in our life we may want to change. List out Life
goals: and their benefits.
We can choose our own path to the Gateway of Life.
Make a Life commitment. Achieving better quality of life
will involve changing some of our behaviors. When we
change because we genuinely want to experience the
positive results of change, we are more likely to do it.
Transformation is an ongoing continuous process.
Practice an existing good habit, start a new habit.
Replace an old habit with a new one. Look for
opportunities, Participate actively. Review and
acknowledge. Be aware of the changes that are
happening. Know yourself listen to your body talk
through emotions, thoughts, nature.
Towards a Quantum Leap in Quality of Life
We can embark on an endless, lifetime journey of self-
discovery and constant transformation. We can choose
to inquire. Are we looking at a paradigm shift in the
Quality of Our Lives and its dimensions? Can we
consciously enhance our capacity for intuition,
creativity, healing and awakening? Does
consciousness conceive, govern, construct and
become the physical universe? Asking these questions
will create insights into higher living and consciousness.
All life and the universe are founded upon the love of
creation and consciousness. Healing is the restoration
of the person to spiritual wholeness, transforming one's
life. Healing results from an experience of re-connecting
to Source. This is theTrue Nature of Healing - Love.
