The emergent recognition of the value of analytics clashes with the rampant growth of the volume of
both structured and unstructured data. Competitive organizations are evolving by adopting strategies
and methods for integrating business intelligence and analysis in a way that supplements the spectrum
of decisions that are made on a day-to-day and sometimes even moment-to-moment basis. Individuals overwhelmed with data may succumb to analysis paralysis, but delivering trustworthy actionable
intelligence to the right people when they need it short-circuits analysis paralysis and encourages
rational and confident decisions.
Microservices aim for maximum decoupling, but how do you coordinate your business across multiple bounded contexts? Events play an important role in coordination and as with many things, there are benefits and challenges.
About the Webinar
Standards are an important element of scaling up any business process. As Open Access is rapidly growing, the need to improve the business models and relationships to create a functional ecosystem becomes more critical. The past economic models and workflows were established based on a subscription model. OA revenue models are typically based on author publication charges, creating a more complicated workflow, and it is questionable whether the new OA business practices can sustain themselves at the scale of expected article output. Invariably, third-party processors will need to help manage the institutional relationships, the billing and payment processing necessary, and likely other elements of the required business ecosystem for Open Access.
The second part of NISO’s two-part series on the Infrastructure of Open Access will discuss how to create a Functioning Business Ecosystem. Speakers will explore the infrastructure elements that some community members are putting into place, discuss what is working and what isn't, and identify problems that remain to be solved.

The Architecture Of Future Websites by LuristicLuristic
The World Wide Web started as a communication tool in the 80’s. By early 90’s, with the advent of the browser, the web became a publishing platform consisting of websites which were nothing more than online brochures. By the end of the 20th century in the late 90’s, the web morphed into a transaction platform in which some websites became online stores. More than just communicating and publishing, web users were transacting at that time, which marked the beginning of the monetization of the web.
The Institute of Financial Operations' new report covers the key trends in AP automation and allows you to get a glimpse into how your peers and competitors are reshaping their operations using emerging technologies.
All the substantial investment and effort over twenty years of extensive research, development, and deployment of graphical user interfaces for desktop and client/server applications, have been more or less thrown away with the introduction of the Browser and HTML. For example, do you know that until today, HTML does not support some of the most basic widgets such as a Data Entry with Spin Buttons? Appalling!!!. However, things are improving a bit with the adoption of new technologies such as AJAX and browsers are becoming more than just surfing tools by including collaborative and social networking features.
After many frustrating years, it is now time to bring all the functionality, usability, and high navigation onto the web. The next generation of web sites and web-based applications must meet and even exceed some of the features and standards typically found on desktop and client/server applications.

In the Adani-Hindenburg case, what is SEBI investigating.pptxAdani case
Adani SEBI investigation revealed that the latter had sought information from five foreign jurisdictions concerning the holdings of the firm’s foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) in relation to the alleged violations of the MPS Regulations. Nevertheless, the economic interest of the twelve FPIs based in tax haven jurisdictions still needs to be determined. The Adani Group firms classed these FPIs as public shareholders. According to Hindenburg, FPIs were used to get around regulatory standards.

Improving profitability for small businessBen Wann
In this comprehensive presentation, we will explore strategies and practical tips for enhancing profitability in small businesses. Tailored to meet the unique challenges faced by small enterprises, this session covers various aspects that directly impact the bottom line. Attendees will learn how to optimize operational efficiency, manage expenses, and increase revenue through innovative marketing and customer engagement techniques.
Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.
