A long time ago, a wildcat and a pangolin lived together on top of Dabajian Mountain. The wildcat was vain due to its beautiful golden fur and often bullied smaller animals. The pangolin loved digging and eating ants. Knowing the pangolin had a gentle temper, the wildcat often picked on it. One day, the wildcat saw the pangolin napping under a tree. It shook the tree, causing leaves to fall on the pangolin, and snapped branches to wake it up.
