For the majority of language teachers the Internet is a ubiquitous, and authentic language tool and as such it is an ample resource of research and teaching material. The use of search engines is essential in ESP classes or in multiculture class where English is a "lingua franca", and a basic means of students' professional improvement. The paper attempts to address one specific facilitator of Internet-based projects known as WebQuest. Examples of practical use are supported with theories and literature.
