Twenty first grade students will listen to a podcast of a book about money and complete an online WebQuest called "Are You a Penny?". The students will then get into groups to discuss the book and ways to save money. They will be evaluated based on completion of the WebQuest and participation in the group discussion to determine if they understood the lesson about identifying coin amounts up to one dollar.

1. Tuesdays Assure
A- Twenty first graders, which includes, 10 Caucasian, 5 African Americans,
and 5 Asians with no learning specialties.
S- All of my first grade students will be able to learn a general theme about
money based on a book read and will be able to count individual coin amounts
up to a dollar as well as mixed amounts with 100 percent accuracy by the end
of today.
S- Students will listen to a podcast which will be of a book about money that is
read to them. They will also complete a WebQuest called, “Are You a Penny?”.
U- Students will be able to use the computer to listen to the podcast which
they can listen to via headphones. They will also use the computers to play
games in the WebQuest as well as to see and complete the WebQuest.
R- Students will get into groups and talk about the book and different ways
that they can save money along with the general idea of the book.
E- Students will be evaluated via completion of the entire WebQuest, along
with the participation in their group discussion. Through my observation and
